Health Policy Evaluation

The Problem:

Too often laws and policies are implemented without empirical evidence that the law or policy will cause the desired effect. This can result in ineffective results, or worse, law and policies with unintended negative consequences.

Our Work:

Our students, faculty, community collaborators and staff work together to evaluate state law and policies and empirical evidence of their impact and effectiveness. Often times our work is done in response to requests from government entities and non-profit organizations.
